Ok, lots of bugs in this thing. Sorry everyone!
You need to type your equation in the equation editor and then save it as a picture.
Then:
click the top right "new post".
Then:
type your post and click the 'insert picture' button that's just to the right of 'spellcheck' button.
Then publish the post.
