Everyone, here are the instructions as I have told you in class:
1) Go ahead and work your problem out on paper. Then, find the post that refers to your class period. Go ahead and comment on that post with your solution. I want you to put as much of the solution is necessary to prove to someone that your answer is right. Use words or use the equation editor. It doesn't have to be right, just make your best attempt. Make sure you complete this by Monday midnight.
2) Go back in and find your classmates' work. Comment on at least one classmate's attempt. You either need to correct them if they are wrong and help them find the correct solution, or comment on why they were right by citing a definition or formula from the book. For lengthy definitions/formulas, you can site the page number and name of the definition/formula. Make sure you complete this by Tuesday midnight.
**If for any reason you cannot complete this on a computer due to no internet access or no extra time at school, I will accept your answers on a sheet of paper.

Since this is a trial run, there are going to be some errors with the way I set it up. Sorry everyone. I just realized that to use the Equation editor, you have to save it as a picture file and then upload the picture in a post, and not a comment. So the only way I can make this work, is for everyone to e-mail me with their e-mail addresses. This way, you will have the ability to make a post.
So when you make a post, type your equation in the editor. Then, you have to click on it and it should save it as a picture file on your desktop or wherever you save it.
Then upload the picture in your post. That should be it.
You would do the same process if you wanted to upload any picture, such as if you scanned your problem or if you took a picture of it with a digital camera.
Sorry again for the problems with this.
And one more thing...I will do an example post for everyone, so just look at before you post.
